Anthony Joshua Set to face Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia

The former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou and British Nigerian boxer Anthony Joshua are getting ready for their fight in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
This was revealed on Friday night in a post on Matchroom and Queensberry’s X account. More information will be verified the following week.

The statement read, “Confirmed: #anthonyjoshua vs #francis_ngannou is signed to take place during #RiyadhSeason 🔥
#Fight date and Kick-off press conference details to be released next week! #JoshuaNgannou.”
A press conference has been scheduled for London on January 15.
Joshua’s attention has changed to Ngannou, who moved up into the WBC’s top 10 heavyweight rankings following his boxing debut, despite originally having a fight scheduled against Deontay Wilder on March 9.
The forthcoming fight comes after Joshua’s commanding victory over Otto Wallin on December 23. Saudi Arabia is still the site of important heavyweight fights.
