2023: YPP holds Stakeholders Strategic Meeting in Orumba South
Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the Executive Director Leadership and Mentorship of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) Dr. Chibuike Echem organised a stakeholders meeting of the YPP Leadership in Orumba South Local Government in Anambra State.
The meeting stakeholders which comprises of 5 man YPP executives from each ward and Local government excos in Orumba South was centred on repositioning the Party and resolving internal issues to chat a way forward for the party in Orumba.
Speaking after the meeting, Dr Echem stated that it was important for stakeholders in the local government to come together for the good of the YPP in the local government.
“When like minds and young leaders across various wards in Orumba South come together to discuss about patriotism, unity, oneness and show demonstration for good and inclusive representation of our dear Constituency both in
State and National level, you cannot help but admire their shear interest in the development and prosperity of Orumba.”
“13th of July 2022 will forever remain memorable and green in our minds as we gathered in the beautiful city of Umunze in Orumba South under the platform of the Young Progressives Party to demonstrate our commitment to build and nurture our dear party to become a household name in Anambra State and Nigeria, in terms of governance, representation and youth inclusiveness in Orumba and Nigerian political strata.”

Dr Echem emphasized the need for young people to have a voice in the Local government.
“As we’re looking forward to a better and prosperous Orumba and Nigeria at large in 2023 and beyond, it is keen that for the youths to speak, they must have a voice collectively, individual voices may find it difficult to sail in our multiplural society, but when we have an umbrella to pass our message to those in governance across all political levels in the state, our voices must be heard”.
“Its time to build the youths and the platform remains Young Progressives Party”. he concluded.
Dr Echem who contested for the State House of Assembly ticket for Orumba South lost to Engr Silvia Onuigbo who emerged as the YPP flagbearer in the local government assured the Party of his continues loyalty and support at all level.
