Frontline presidential contender Peter Obi yesterday visited the British prime minister’s residence for talks with British officials.
It was not immediately clear why Mr Obi of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party is visiting London to meet with top British officials. It was also unclear whether or not Prime Minister Boris Johnson will take part in the meeting. What Mr Obi plans to discuss with British officials was also not mentioned.
I just arrived at No. 10 Downing Street, London, for a meeting. Ran into Lord Marland of Odstock—full of warmth as usual. -PO pic.twitter.com/lwEwRtMvkX
Obi arrived at Downing Street yesterday morning, days before he is expected to slug it out with other presidential aspirants at the convention of the main opposition party in Abuja.
