2023: ENUGU MOBILISE FOR THE ACTUALISATION OF ROTIMI AMECHI’S PRESIDENCY

As the electioneering season for 2023 starts in line with the lay down principles of our electoral umpire, Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, coupled with series of declaration by aspirants across the political parties in Nigeria, people have started inaugurating polling unit canversers, influencers and warriors for their principals.

In the All Progressives Congress APC, Enugu State Chapter, a known grassroot political family, have mobilised and inaugurated their State, Zonal and Local Government, polling unit mobilisers for Rotimi Chibuike Amechi under the aegis of Amechi Polling Unit Vanguard (APUV).

The inauguration which had over 300 people that were drawn across the 3 Senatorial zones and 17 local Government Areas of the State, was done on Saturday 23rd of April, 2023 at tickles event Centre, Enugu.

Speaking after the inauguration of the State, Zonal And local Government leadership of the group, The Enugu State Secretary of the Group, Comrade Tony Alum, stated that Rotimi Chibuike Amechi, is the answer for the yearning cries of Nigerians on getting a leader that is a Nigerian into to, with vision of unity, peace, progress and Development.

He stated that, the group is a grassroot political offspring from the mainstream chapter of the party, made of mostly, the foundation members of the Enugu APC, who are determined to deliver the state to Rotimi Chibuike Amechi.

He posited that, Rotimi Chibuike Amechi is a rare bred in Nigeria who rose through the ranks from speakers, to Governor, to minister and is very ready to lead over 200 million Nigerians.

According to him ” We are polling unit mobilisers and influencers for Rotimi Chibuike Amechi”

“Amechi is a detrabilised Nigerian who is the answer to the cries of Nigerians about getting their own President”

“Amechi has all it takes to take Nigeria to the next level and retain judiciously, the advancement made by the leadership of president Muhammadu Buhari”

“Our Group, is an offspring of the mainstream chapter of the party filled with members across the 3 Senatorial zones and 17 Local Government Areas of the State.”

“Elections are not won on TV neither has it ever been won on the new media but only in polling units”

“We have known grassroot foot soldiers that are committed to making sure that our principal Rotimi Chibuike Amechi emerges victoriously in over 2000 polling units in Enugu State”

“Nigeria needs rare bred like Amechi, because, there can only be 36 Speakers in the entire Nigeria, one Governor and only 44 ministers, which Amechi was one of them”

“He was the Director General of Buhari’s campaign team in 2015 and 2019,where he toured round the country and informed Nigerians about the need to have a president like Muhammadu Buhari”

“All these shows capacity and that is why, Romiti Chibuike Amechi was entrusted to lead one of the most sensitive ministries in the country, which has also turned out to become one, which the current administration can always boost of”

Comdrade Alum also stated that, Romiti Amechi is someone who has the enviable records of succeeding President Muhammadu Buhari and thus begged the leaders of the party to consider Amechi and support him all through the primaries to emerge victoriously as a consensus or elected candidate .

“Dear compatriots, going by his enviable records as a Former Speaker, Former Governor and now minister, we are confident that, he has the capacity to unite our dear country, fix our economy, utilise modern military equipment ‘s procured by Mr President, to contain the general insecurity in the land, provide employment by continuation massive agrarian revolution and massive housing and as well, commence Eastern corridor standard gauge Rail Line and Bonny Deep Sea Port. “

Also speaking, the Zonal Coordinator of the Group in Enugu North Senatorial Zone and also main financier of the event and the group , Chief Ocho Obodoeze, described Amechi as the answer to the current yearns of Nigerians.

He stated that, Amechi pollin unit Vanguard has been set up in all the polling units across the 6 local Government Areas in his Senatorial Zone.

“Rotimi Amechi is the president that we need in Nigeria”

“This is because he has proven beyond reasonable doubt that, he is a Nigerian president that we yearn for”

“As you can see, the group which is made up of mostly the foundation members of the party, are happy and want Amechi”

“It is one of the reasons why, I am brining out my resources, time and energy to finance and support this movement and will continue to do it even till victory is achieved”

“All we want is for our party leaders to support and endorse him”

Others who spoke at the event includes, the coordinator for Enugu West Senatorial Zone, Lolo Queen Ngozi Nwankwo, her colleague in Enugu East Senatorial Zone, Hon Chidi Mbonu amongst others.

Highpoint of the event was the official inauguration of the State, Zonal and Local Government coordinators of the group by the head of the legal directorate, Hon Chief Barr Tony Nwafor.
