Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) Wins Majority As Labour Party Loses Out in Abia LG Election

The Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) has made a significant splash in the Abia Local Government elections, winning 15 out of 17 seats, while the Labour Party lost out. The Young Progressives Party (YPP) secured the remaining two seats .

The Young Progressives Party won Osisioma and Ugwunagbo Local Government Areas.

The results were announced by the Chairman, Abia State Independent Electoral Commission Chairman, Prof. Chima George.

George, speaking at the ABSIEC office thanked Abians for their peaceful disposition, adding that in every election, there must be a winner.

The ABSIEC boss thanked all the political parties that participated in the election for their maturity.
