The Super Falcons have landed in Abuja to a hero’s welcome after clinching their historic 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title, BONA NAIJA reports.

Touching down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on Monday afternoon, the team still buzzing from Saturday night’s thrilling 3-2 win over hosts Morocco are set to embark on a celebratory trophy parade across the Federal Capital Territory.

The parade route will take the team through key landmarks including Airport Road, Berger Junction, Maitama, and Wuse Market, giving fans a chance to cheer on the queens of African football.

Later in the day, President Bola Tinubu is expected to host the team at the Presidential Villa, where the nation’s top footballing heroines will be officially honoured for their incredible feat.

With their dramatic triumph in Rabat, the Falcons further cemented their dominance as Africa’s most successful women’s football team adding a 10th WAFCON crown to their glittering trophy cabinet.
