Unknown gunmen kill two FRSC officers In Anambra
It’s a sad day in Ezinifite, Aguata local government area of Anambra State as unknown gunmen attacked Federal Road Safety Corps officers killing two of them on the spot.
The officers were attacked at the popular Umuezedibia junction, Ifite, Ezinifite, in the afternoon of Sunday, 3rd April, 2022.
According to sources, the assailants also wounded three officers during the attack.
When contacted, VRC, Margaret B. Onabe, Ag. Public Education Officer for Anambra FRSC said they’re still investigating the incident and will get back to our correspondent with more details.
In a related development, there was a heavy shooting in the same area.
Confirming the incident, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu said: “Yes, there was a shooting incident along Ezinifite but the information is still sketchy, when I get any detailed reported, I will get back to you please.”
