SENATOR IFEANYI UBAH REPORTEDLY DIES IN LONDON HOSPITAL
Nigerian Senator, Ifeanyi Ubah, representing Anambra South Senatorial District, has died in a London hospital, sources close to the family have confirmed.
According to reports, Senator Ubah had been battling an undisclosed illness for several weeks before his condition took a turn for the worse in the past 48 hours.
The 53-year-old lawmaker was elected to the Senate in 2019 under the platform of the Young Progressive Party (YPP) and was reelected in 2023. He later defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) earlier this year and had expressed interest in contesting the Anambra State governorship election in 2025.

Details of his death are still sketchy, but sources say he passed away on Saturday morning in a London hospital. The cause of death is yet to be disclosed.
This is coming just few days after the President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu passed on.
