PHOTOS: NIGERIAN YOUTH COMPACT ON COVID-19 UNVEILED IN ABUJA #NYCCOVID_19

The Nigerian Youth Compact on COVID-19 (NYCCOVID-19) was Officially Unveiled in Nigeria on the 2nd of June, 2020, at the Peace Corps of Nigeria Headquarters in Jabi, Abuja.

The Unveiling Ceremony was witnessed by a host of Stakeholders, amongst whom were; the Hon. Minister of State FCT – who unveiled the Project, Hon. Minister of State for Education, Director-General, National Orientation Agency (NOA),Chairman, YES Project Nigeria,Representatives of ActionAid – Nigeria.

Also present were the World Assembly of Youth (WAY), National Commandant, Peace Corps of Nigeria (PCN), Nigeria Focal Person, Commonwealth Alliance of Youth Workers Association – CAYWA,Coordinator, National Humanitarian Action and host of others.

The NYCCOVID-19 Project, which is expected to engage Ten Million (10,000,000) Nigerian Youth in various Humanitarian and COVID-19 Response efforts from across the Country, is aimed at domesticating the Global Compact for Youth in Humanitarian Action and COVID-19, which was recently launched at the United Nations Headquarters, where more than 50 International Agencies made commitments to support the Initiative at National Levels.
