Peter Obi, GRV, Tanko Visit Obasanjo, Olubadan of Ibadan
Presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 elections, Peter Obi, has revealed that he, alongside Dr. Yunusa Tanko, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour (GRV), and Segun Adebanjo, paid courtesy visits to former President Olusegun Obasanjo and the new Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja.
Obi, who shared details of the visits on his official X handle on Sunday, said the engagements focused on Nigeria’s unity and progress.
“In both visits, we were fortunate to discuss the state of our nation and how all of us can live in unity, love, fairness, and justice progressively together,” Obi wrote.
He added that the meetings reinforced his belief that Nigeria can be rebuilt through the coming together of “a competent team with capacity, compassion, and commitment” to deliver a new Nigeria that is “POssible.”
