No injuries or fatalities During Fire Outbreak at Dangote Refinery in Lagos
A fire broke out today at the Dangote Refinery in the Lekki area of Lagos.
According to Anthony Chiejina, the Chief Corporate Communications Officer of Dangote Group, the fire occurred at the refinery’s effluent treatment plant and has been successfully put out.
No injuries or fatalities have been reported, and an investigation into the cause of the fire is currently underway.
The Dangote Refinery is a 650,000 barrels per day integrated refinery project located at the Lekki Free Zone near Lagos, Nigeria.
