The Federal High Court in Abuja has admitted video evidence of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), allegedly inciting violence and terrorism.

The videos show Kanu announcing the creation of the Eastern Security Network (ESN) and ordering a lockdown in the South-East.

The prosecution claims these broadcasts led to coordinated attacks on police stations and correctional facilities, resulting in loss of life and property. Kanu’s lawyers objected to the evidence, but it was admitted nonetheless.

The trial has been adjourned to May 8 for continuation.
