Naira Appreciates To N1,575/$ In Parallel Market
The Naira has seen some fluctuations recently. On Wednesday, it appreciated to ₦1,575 per dollar in the parallel market, which is a slight improvement from ₦1,585 per dollar on Monday. However, in the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM), the Naira depreciated to ₦1,535 per dollar.
According to data published by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the indicative exchange rate for the Naira rose to ₦1,535 per dollar from ₦1,533 per dollar on Monday. This indicates a ₦2 depreciation for the Naira.
