Lagos Police Declares Man Wanted For Murder
The Lagos State Police Command, on Tuesday, declared Benjamin Best Nnanyereugo wanted over the murder of his 21-year-old girlfriend Augusta Onuwabhagbe Osedion.
This was made known in a statement signed by the Lagos police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, and shared on the command’s X (formerly Twitter) handle.
Best was described to be “approximately 5’9 ft tall and hails from Abia State”.

He said, “The Lagos State Police Command hereby declares wanted Benjamin Best Nnanyereugo. Nnanyereugo is suspected to have murdered his girlfriend, 21-year-old Augusta Onuwabhagbe Osedion, on July 13, 2023, in his Oral Estate, Ajah home. Following the exhaustion of all available options to bring him in, he is declared wanted.
“The suspect is 26 years old, approximately 5’9 ft tall, and hails from Abia State. He is dark in complexion and speaks English, Igbo, and pidgin English fluently.”
Benjamin Best also known as Killaboigram, took to social media on July 2023 to confess to murdering his girlfriend.
According to the Killaboigram, he and the deceased, simply identified as Austa_XXO on Instagram, got into a heated argument that saw him eventually stabbing her to death before fleeing the scene.
