Tragedy has struck Imo State as Chief Humphrey Anumudu, an aspirant for the Labour Party’s ticket in the upcoming gubernatorial election, was found de^ad in his home. The late politician, who hailed from the Mbieri Ancient Kingdom of Imo State, was reportedly a victim of a “spiritual attack” according to family sources.

Chief Anumudu had already paid the sum of 25 million Naira for the Labour Party’s Governorship form, as he prepared to contest in the November 11th, 2023 gubernatorial election.

The late Chief Anumudu was a highly respected legal luminary and a seasoned politician who had previously contested for the Governorship election under the All Progressives Grand Alliance. He was also the Chief Executive Officer of Globe Motors.
