Officials of the Federal Competition and Consumer and Protection Commission (FCCPC) has sealed up an Abuja-based Chinese supermarket situated at the China General Chamber of Commerce.
The supermarket doesn’t sell to Nigerians and doesn’t allow Nigerians enter its premises. The workers said that the owner of the supermarket, a Chinese, Cindy Liu Bei, fled on Monday morning at 8:26am with her family as confirmed on the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) camera.

The FCCPC officials subsequently shut the supermarket.
This comes after reports of discrimination against Nigerians at the Chinese supermarket. The FCCPC is a competition and consumer protection agency.
