At the 2025 NGO Impact Investment Summit held at the National Centre for Women Development, Dr. Kikiope Oluwarore, Executive Director of the One Health and Development Initiative (OHDI), was honored for her contributions to the success of the NGOs summit.

A key highlight of Dr. Oluwarore’s remarks was the introduction of RORE (Resource-Oriented Resilience Engine)—a groundbreaking innovation by OHDI designed to centralize tools, resources, and knowledge for frontline actors in One Health. Through RORE, development practitioners and communities can access curated guidance and learning that enhances local resilience and coordinated response. This tool is a game-changer in operationalizing the One Health framework, especially in resource-limited settings.

“The future of sustainable development lies in co-creation, access to knowledge, and the power of collaboration. RORE is our contribution to bridging that gap,” said Dr. Oluwarore.

The summit closed with a communique calling for strengthened NGO-led ecosystems and transparent public-private partnerships to accelerate Africa’s development agenda.
