Davido Secures Spot as Voting Member of Recording Academy for 2026 GRAMMYs

Nigerian music superstar Davido (David Adedeji Adeleke) has officially joined the Recording Academy as a voting member, which gives him a direct role in the nomination and final selection processes for the 2026 GRAMMY Awards.

The announcement was made public via the Recording Academy’s social media platforms, where Davido appeared alongside other newly inducted members.

In a video, he expressed how honoured he feels, calling it “a game-changer” and emphasising how important it is for artists’ voices to be heard in every awards season.
