Nigerian comedian Seyi Law has taken to social media to speak out about what he perceives as hypocrisy among some celebrities.

In a statement that has garnered attention, Law poked fun at celebrities, including Cubana Chief Priest and Tunde Ednut, referencing specific incidents and calling out what he sees as a disconnect between their public and private personas.

“People saw Cubana Chief Priest, and they are shouting while I am just laughing,” Law said, without elaborating on the context of Cubana’s situation. He also referenced Tunde Ednut, saying, “Let Tunde Ednut come and deny that he was not excited when Mr. President called him on his birthday, and he was calling people in Nigeria that he couldn’t believe it.”

Law further commented on the behavior of some public figures, stating, “They come online to pander to the mob but are hustling behind. God will judge all our hypocrisy. I say again that time will judge us all.”

Law’s statement has sparked reactions, with some interpreting it as a critique of celebrity culture and others seeing it as an expression of frustration with perceived hypocrisy.

This is coming after videos of Cubana Chief Priests visit to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu went viral on social media.
