Justice Emeka Nwite has denied bail to suspended deputy commissioner of police, Abba Kyari, and two other senior police officers in separate rulings. The court held that the defendants failed to present sufficient evidence to justify the court’s discretion.

Justice Nwite emphasized that the court must exercise its discretion judiciously and cannot grant bail to the defendants in this case.
