Chelsea secured a hard-fought 2-1 win over Brentford at Stamford Bridge, marking their fifth consecutive Premier League victory. The Blues dominated possession throughout the match, but Brentford’s resilient defense made it challenging for them to find the back of the net.

Marc Cucurella broke the deadlock just before halftime, heading home a precise cross from Noni Madueke. Chelsea continued to press in the second half, and Nicolas Jackson doubled their lead in the 80th minute with a powerful drive into the near post.

However, Brentford refused to give up, and Bryan Mbeumo pulled one back for the visitors in stoppage time. Despite a nervy finish, Chelsea held on to claim all three points. The win was slightly marred by Cucurella’s late red card, but the Blues will be thrilled with the outcome.

The victory propels Chelsea up the Premier League table, while Brentford will look to bounce back from this narrow defeat.
