Just one day before Cardi B’s debut album, Invasion of Privacy, finally drops, the Bronx rapper has achieved yet another major career milestone. Her single “Bartier Cardi,” featuring 21 Savage, has officially been certified platinum.

Cardi released “Bartier Cardi” at the end of December 2017 after a truly historic year. Her breakout hit “Bodak Yellow” was the undisputed song of the summer, and spent so long at number one that it beat the record of Lauryn Hill’s “Doo Wop (That Thing)” as the longest running solo number one by a female rapper. She was also the only rapper to have her first three Hot 100 singles in the top 10 simultaneously (“No Limit,” “Motorsport,” and “Bodak Yellow”). With her new album Invasion of Privacycoming up, it seems like Cardi is setting herself up for another massive 2018.

This isn’t the first time Cardi has recieved a plaque, though. There’s her massive single, “Bodak Yellow,” which is five-times platinum now, according to Billboard. She’s also earned certifications for her features on Bruno Mars’s “Finesse” remix and G-Eazy’s “No Limit.”

It’s been a busy week for Cardi. In just the past seven days, she’s released the “Bartier Cardi” music video, a lush, opulent affair starring her fiancé, Offset. She’s also released two new singles: “Drip,” featuring Migos, and “Be Careful.” Her first album, Invasion of Privacy, will drop April 6.
