President Bola Tinubu will return to Nigeria today, Monday, April 21. This was confirmed in a post by his spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga.
He wrote: “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will return home today.”
Tinubu departed Abuja for Paris, France, on a state visit Wednesday, April 2. During the visit, the President appraised his administration’s mid-term performance and assessed key milestones of his administration.
However, on April 17, the presidency issued another statement, saying the President would return to the country to resume his official duties after the Easter holidays.
The presidency’s statement partly reads: “The president left Paris for London at the weekend and has maintained constant communication with key government officials, overseeing critical national matters, including directives to security chiefs to address emerging threats in some parts of the country.”
