Elon Musk announced the new Grok Companion Valentine

Elon Musk revealed his name was inspired by the central character in Robert A. Heinlein’s science fiction novel “Stranger in a Strange Land”, Valentine Michael Smith, often referred to as “Mike” who was born on Mars to two of the first human explorers.
What’s interesting is how everything ties together:
A Martian concept central to the novel, “GROK” means to deeply and intuitively understand something or someone and Mike’s ability to grok allows him to connect with others on a profound level, often challenging human notions of individuality and separation.
As the sole survivor of the first human mission to Mars, Mike is brought back to Earth as an adult.
Mike is curious, innocent, and deeply empathetic, but also profoundly alien in his thinking.
His Martian perspective leads him to question human customs, emotions, and societal structures.
Mike evolves from a naive, alien-like figure to a charismatic leader who seeks to bridge Martian and human philosophies.
Valentine Michael Smith is one of science fiction’s most iconic characters, representing the ultimate outsider.

Musk’s AI Set to Rewrite Human Knowledge

Elon Musk has announced plans to use an advanced AI model, named Grok 3.5 or possibly Grok 4, to revise and correct the global corpus of human knowledge.
This initiative according to him aims to address errors and fill informational gaps, following concerns over the accuracy of previous AI versions, including Grok, which Musk criticized for relying on potentially biased sources like Media Matters and Rolling Stone.
The project raises questions about AI’s role in defining truth and the potential for bias correction or introduction.
Elon Musk is a billionaire entrepreneur, inventor, and CEO of several high-profile companies, including Tesla (electric vehicles), SpaceX (aerospace and space exploration), Neuralink (neurotechnology), and The Boring Company (infrastructure and tunnel construction).
Born in 1971 in Pretoria, South Africa, he holds citizenship in the U.S., Canada, and South Africa.
Musk is known for his ambitious goals, like colonizing Mars, advancing AI, and revolutionizing transportation with projects like the Hyperloop.
He’s also a polarizing figure due to his outspoken views on X, where he’s one of the most followed accounts, often sharing thoughts on technology, politics, and culture.
His net worth fluctuates but has often exceeded $200 billion, making him one of the world’s richest individuals.

Nigerian Programmer Sapphire Egemasi Arrested by FBI in Connection with Multi-Million Dollar Fraud

The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has arrested Sapphire Egemasi, a 28-year-old Nigerian programmer known as the “Tech Queen,” in connection with a $1.3 million fraud targeting US government agencies.
Egemasi was apprehended in the Bronx, New York, in April 2025, alongside Ghanaian national Samuel Kwadwo Osei and other co-conspirators.
According to court filings, Egemasi allegedly created fake US government websites to harvest login credentials from officials, which were then used to gain unauthorized access to government systems and redirect funds into accounts controlled by the syndicate.
The crimes are said to have occurred between September 2021 and February 2023, spanning multiple jurisdictions.
Federal investigators revealed that the syndicate successfully rerouted funds totaling $965,000 and $330,000, both stolen from the city of Kentucky, into bank accounts at PNC Bank and Bank of America.
Egemasi is reported to have served as the group’s tech specialist, coordinating operations from both the US and Nigeria.
Egemasi and her co-defendants are currently being held in federal custody in Lexington, Kentucky, awaiting trial.
If convicted, they face up to 20 years in prison, substantial fines, and possible deportation.
