Air Peace CEO Allen Onyema Cleared of Fraud Charges in US Court

Allen Onyema, the CEO of Air Peace, has been acquitted of business fraud charges by the District Court in Atlanta, Georgia, after a three-year investigation involving five US government agencies. The court found no loss to any bank and no evidence of criminal intent.


Onyema’s lawyer stated that he never took loans or credit from an American bank and that there were no victims in the case. The court did, however, fine Ebony Mayfield, a former Springfield Aviation Company staff member, $4,000 and ordered her to serve probation for pleading guilty to one count in the indictment.


Mayfield’s role involved administrative tasks with limited knowledge of Letter of Credit Transactions. Her probation is considered the lowest possible sentence under American Federal Law ¹. This verdict confirms Onyema’s innocence and lack of fraudulent intent, as claimed by him and his legal team throughout the investigation.
