2023 Democracy Day Celebrations: Succour Becons on Nigerians- APC Stakeholders

A registered group of the All Progressives Congress APC under the auspices of Coalition of Progressives APC Stakeholders has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Nigerians on the occasion of the 2023 democracy day celebrations. In a statement jointly signed by the National Co-ordinator, Dr Alfred Audu Gbaja and Secretary Mshelizza Yusuf Gowmna in Abuja.They said within fourteen days in office, President Tinubu has redefined governance, showcasing his zeal and commitment to uplift the living standard of Nigerians.

The APC leaders also urged Senator elect to support Abdulaziz Yari for Senate President. In their words” We wish to thank Mr President for staying off the National Assembly politics by not interfering with the leadership selection process, thereby treating all National Assembly members elect as equal. We also urge Distinguished Senators elect to unanimously elect Senator Abdulaziz Yari as the 10th Senate President of Nigeria to compliment the executive in delivering dividends of democracy to Nigerians”

The group further described Abdulaziz Yari as the best choice for Senate President in view of his antecedents and impeccable track records of good governance both as an Honourable Member, Federal House of Representatives and executive Governor of Zamfara State.

The APC Stakeholders appeal to Senators elect to elect Yari as Senate President during tomorrow 13th June 2023 Senate proclamation and inauguration of the 10th Senate which will pave way for a new Nigeria.

We are confident that Senator Yari will deliver the needed leadership the Senate desires, the statement added.
