BONA NAIJAThe Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has sealed off the national headquarters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abuja over alleged violations relating to land use and unpaid ground rent.
Officials of the agency sealed the secretariat on Monday.
The property was revoked over the party’s alleged refusal to pay ground rent.
It was alleged that Senator Samaila Mamman Kurfi, the owner of the property, failed to pay Ground Rent for 28 years.
In a post by Dele Momodu, he accused Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory of suddenly remembering that the PDP was owing the FCT.
He wrote, “Wike via FCT Authorities seals PDP national headquarters.” Suddenly, NYESOM WIKE remembers PDP Headquarters is owing FCT… Was he not the sole financier of PDP and its apparatchiks? Truth is the man will neither forgive nor forget the blinding blow of losing the PDP Presidential primary in 2022 and being rejected as Atiku’s runningmate…
There’s beautiful life outside power my dear Brother…”
BONA NAIJA reports that this comes less than 24 hours after Wike vowed to fight until he gets justice against certain actions of the party.
He singled out governors Bala Muhammed, Seyi Makinde and Peter Mbah of Bauchi, Oyo and Enugu states, accusing them of breaching an agreement he reached with them earlier.
