BONA NAIJAA tanker carrying fuel exploded in Maitama in Abuja on Monday night, leaving at least three persons injured and causing widespread panic.
The incident happened along Shehu Shagari Way and also affected passengers in a commercial vehicle.
Amid the chaos, emergency responders showed up at the scene, and nearby hospitals were quickly alerted.

A health official at Maitama District Hospital, who requested anonymity, confirmed that victims from the explosion were being treated at the facility. “I saw victims being brought in for emergency care,” the official said.
