Armed hoodlums on Sunday set ablaze the police and Department of State Services field offices in Nnewi, Anambra state.
According to Peoples Gazette the incident occurred at about 1:00 p.m. when hoodlums stormed the offices, overpowered personnel and torched “everywhere,” a witness reportedly said.
“The attackers said they don’t want to see any Nigerian flag standing in the area,” a witness said.

Figures as to death and injuries could not be immediately ascertained as the police and the DSS were yet to comment on the matter as of the time of publishing this report.
