Video: Fire guts furniture market in Ajah, Lagos

Goods worth millions of naira were lost as a fire gutted the furniture market opposite Blenco Supermarket, along Addo Road, in the Ajah area of Lagos State.

Many X account users posted the fire incident on Monday evening.

The video clip showed commuters and car owners scampering for safety around the area as the shops were razed.

The cause of the fire has not yet been ascertained at the time of filing this report.

There was also no record of casualty.

It was not also sure whether the National Emergency Management Agency or any rescue agencies were at the scene.
