BONA NAIJAAnthony Joshua and Otto Wallin have wrapped up their heavyweight clash.
The high-stakes feel of Joshua vs. Wallin took a hit after Deontay Wilder suffered an upset unanimous decision loss against Joseph Parker earlier in the night. Had Wilder won, it would’ve helped set the stage for a showdown against Joshua.
Joshua got in a jab early in round two. Wallin connected with a left hand. A clean right hand landed for Joshua in round three. A left hook connected for Joshua and Wallin looked off balance. A nice body shot down the middle was there for “AJ.”

Joshua looked to find his comfort zone in round four, keeping Wallin at bay with his jab and moving forward with power shots. Joshua had Wallin backing up with his power shots early in the fifth round. A left hand from Joshua had Wallin wobbly. Wallin survived the round.
Wallin’s corner had seen enough, and Anthony Joshua scored the dominant victory.
