Tinubu Appoints Atiku’s Ex-Presidential Campaign Spokesman Daniel Bwala As Special Adviser, 3 Directors-General

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of four key individuals to various positions in his administration.

The new appointees are expected to bring their expertise and experience to their respective roles.

  • Director-General, National Sports Commission: Mr. Olawale Olopade, a seasoned sports administrator, will lead the National Sports Commission. Olopade has served as commissioner of youth and sports in Ogun state and was chairman of the local organising committee of the 2024 National Sports Festival.
  • Director-General, National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism: Dr. Abisoye Fagade, a marketing communication professional, will oversee the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism. Fagade is the founder and managing director of Sodium Brand Solutions.
  • Director-General, Bureau of Public Procurement: Dr. Adebowale Adedokun, former director of Research/Training and Strategic Planning at the bureau, will lead the Bureau of Public Procurement.
  • Special Adviser, Media and Public Communications (State House): Daniel Bwala, a lawyer and notable public affairs analyst, will serve as the Special Adviser on Media and Public Communications.

According to Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President (Information & Strategy), the President has enjoined the newly appointed officers to discharge their duties with dedication, patriotism, and excellence.
