THE RISE AND RISE OF PANESSIA YOUNG

The amazing talent of panessia have made many to compare her to Mary j Blige.

This American singer and song writer hails from Columbia, South Carolina. To become a popular singer and to touch lives with her voice have always been her dream and motivation. 

After graduating from high school, she decided to take the music business seriously. She really put her money where her mouth is by recording her joints. Most of those recordings could be found in her debut CD called “panessia”.

Shortly after that, her ancestors smiled on her by making it possible for her to open up for the great Lenny Williams in July 2010. More doors of blessings was exposed to her as she was picked to open up for Calvin Richardson in February 2011. 

All these are not enough because for Panessia, she’s looking towards greater things which is global domination, and this have always been her striving force since she started music. Thanks to her smash hit songs like ‘Tomorrow, Official and Its Over now’ that made her a major contender in the music industry.

What’s amazing is that she’s doing all these as an indie artist. She hit another milestone when she was called to perform at Angie Stone tribute in October 2015 at the CA Johnson auditorium. At this point, the music award recognitions started coming in. And this made many consider her the new R&B Queen of the South.
