Nigeria coach Augustine Eguavoen has unveiled a 23-man squad for the crucial 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Benin Republic and Rwanda.
KEY PLAYERS RETURN
Captain William Ekong, Ademola Lookman, Moses Simon, and Victor Osimhen are among the top players called up for the matches. Osimhen, the reigning Africa Player of the Year, will lead the attack alongside Kelechi Iheanacho, Victor Boniface, and Samuel Chukwueze.
NEW FACES
Home-based defender Victor Collins earns his first call-up, while Sadiq Umar returns to the team after a stint with Real Sociedad in Spain. France-based defender Gabriel Osho is also included, seeking to make his competitive debut.
