Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, has been impeached by members of the Assembly.
According to reports Obasa who’s in his 3rd term as the speaker of the Assembly, was Impeached for gross misconduct and abuse of office.
Also, the Lawmakers has elected Hon Mrs Mojisola Miranda from Apapa 1 constituency as the the new speaker of the Assembly.
At the time of this report, there’s heavy security presence around state House of Assembly.
Meanwhile Black Maria is trending on social media after the video of 20 lovers of supporters of impeached Mudashiru Obasa, were bundled into a police van.
They started singing the APC anthem, “On Your Mandate”🎶, while stating that they are APC youths, they’re graduates from Agege.
They said “We are 20 here, all from Agege. We are not area boys, we are APC youths. Just give us water. We need water.”When no one answered them.. they began singing the popular tune — “On your mandate ..chorus”. Nigerians found it quite hilarious.
