South East Woman Influencer Calls For More Submission in Marriage.

The mother of 8 who hosted Enugu couples to a Couples Nite, expressed gratitude to God for a blessed life, noted that submission must be total and complete, it must be in thought, deed and action.

“The holy book says submit one to another,but the woman was comanded to submit and the man was commanded to love his wife as Christ loves the Church.Whether we believe it or not one of the most powerful weapon every married woman has to rule her family is the weapon of submission. There is no greater way to show love to your husband than submitting to him. When you respect your husband which is a component of submission, he translates it as love. It massages his ego,self esteem and boost his confidence. The resultant effect is the flow of positive emotion,fulfilment and joy. Love is triggered naturally.”
She hinted.

“As women we must understand first and foremost that submission is a commandment from God Almighty,and every instructions of scriptures is for our profiting and advancement.Your submission is unto God first before the man.
Once you understand that not submitting to your own husband saps your energy and efforts you will have a rethink about the submission” Lady Obiakalusi explained.

The lavish birthday celebration was attended by 5 royal fathers along with their wives, State House of Assembly Members,Dr and Dr Mrs Ibeabuchi from the U.S,
Mr and Mrs Ezeani from SPDC, Port Harcourt; and paramilitary couples.

Mrs Obiakalusi has been married to Mr Benjamin Obiakalusi for 24 years and is the fulfilled Convener of the Valiant Women Award-an award that celebrates worthy women in the marriage industry.
