NDLEA Speaks on Pretty Mike’s Arrest, Warns Against ‘Drug Party’ Trend
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has cautioned nightclub operators and fun seekers across Nigeria against the growing trend of organizing and attending “drug parties”, describing the practice as a serious criminal offence under Nigerian law.
The warning follows a major raid conducted by NDLEA operatives at Proxy Night Club, located at 7 Akin Adesola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, on the night of Saturday, October 25, into the early hours of Sunday, October 26, 2025.
According to a statement released on Monday, October 28, by NDLEA spokesperson Femi Babafemi, over 100 attendees were arrested during the operation, alongside the club owner Mike Eze Nwalie Nwogu, popularly known as Pretty Mike, and his manager Joachin Millary, who are currently in custody.
“Any gathering organized for the purpose of consuming, distributing, or abusing illicit substances is an act of criminality,” Babafemi said. “These ‘drug parties’ contravene the NDLEA Act and will be treated as serious narcotic offences.”
The agency disclosed that its operatives had conducted undercover surveillance on the club prior to the raid, including pre-purchases of illicit substances, to confirm reports of ongoing drug transactions.
“For four hours, between 11 p.m. and 3 a.m., our operatives observed and recorded drug transactions and abuse before disrupting the brazen display of illegality,” Babafemi added.
NDLEA officials reportedly seized 384.882 kilograms of Canadian Loud, a potent strain of cannabis, along with other narcotic substances from the club’s storage area.
While all attendees were later profiled, counselled, and released, in line with international best practices, the two principal suspects Pretty Mike and his manager remain in NDLEA custody pending further investigation.
The agency reiterated its commitment to enforcing drug laws and urged Nigerians to refrain from attending or promoting drug-related events, warning that anyone found complicit will face prosecution.

Odumodublvck Faces Off with Blaqbonez’s Manager as Nigerian Rap Feud Escalates
The ongoing feud between Nigerian rappers Odumodublvck and Blaqbonez intensified on Saturday, October 18, 2025, after a viral video showed Odumodublvck confronting Blaqbonez’s female manager at an event in Uyo, sparking widespread reactions across the music industry.
The confrontation reportedly followed the release of Blaqbonez’s diss track “ACL”, featured on his newly released album No Excuses, in which he accused Odumodublvck of stream farming and chasing clout.
Shortly after the song’s release, leaked direct messages allegedly sent by Odumodublvck surfaced online, containing threats of physical harm toward Blaqbonez. The situation escalated further when sources close to Blaqbonez’s camp alleged that Odumodublvck had previously spat on the manager during a prior altercation.
The viral Uyo video shows Odumodublvck engaging in a heated exchange with Blaqbonez’s manager before being restrained by security personnel and event organizers.
As of the time of filing this report, neither Odumodublvck nor Blaqbonez has issued an official statement addressing the incident, though both artists’ fanbases have taken to social media to debate the conflict and call for restraint.
The altercation adds a new layer of tension to what has been one of Nigerian hip-hop’s most publicized rivalries in recent years, pitting two of the genre’s biggest voices against each other in a clash blending music, ego, and controversy.
