BONA NAIJALabour Party Presidential candidate in the February 25 election, Peter Obi, and his running mate, Datti Baba-Ahmed, are presently at the presidential election petition tribunal in Abuja.
Award-winning author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie accompanied Obi and Baba-Ahmed to the tribunal.
The tribunal is expected to adopt the written addresses of Obi, the Independent National Electoral Commission, the All Progressives Congress, and Bola Tinubu’s petitions.
Obi is challenging the declaration of President Bola Tinubu as the winner of the February 25, 2023 poll as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
