Party faithful deserve reward – Sen. Yari

Senator Abdul’aziz Yari, of the All Progressives Congress (APC) says party faithfuls deserve support and reward as appreciating humans also means appreciating God.

Yari, a former governor of Zamfara state said this when a delegation of the All Progressives National Integrity Movement (ANIM), paid him a courtesy visit in Abuja on Tuesday.

He said party faithfuls, especially those who sacrificed their time and resources, who stood firm during and after the 2023 general elections needed to be carried along.

He noted that if the Almighty God who is the Creator of life appreciates human beings for doing what he wants, hence such act was worthy of emulation.

“If you appreciate human beings, you appreciate God. And if God appreciate you, you will continue to be greater by the day,” he said.

He pledged continuos support and association to the group whenever he was called upon.

Sadiq Fakai, leader of the ANIM expressed delight over the support accorded them by the former governor by helping to move the party forward.

Fakai said as one of the founding members of the APC, Yari contributed immensely to the emergence of President Tinubu and Kashim Shettima in the just concluded 2023 Presidential election.

“We are here to show our solidarity to you for all you have done for the party,” he said.

The group also presented to the former governor, award and certificate of recognition and stewardship for sacrifice and support to the party.
