Nwosu praises Tinubu for the passage of Students loan Bill
The former Chief of Staff to ex-governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State, Uche Nwosu, has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for passing the student loan Bill.
Nwosu said it is a step in the right direction and equally urged the students to utilise the opportunity that comes with it.
While commending the President Tinubu, he said the step taking by Mr President reminds him of how free education started in the South West.
“When the president assented to the student loan bill, what came to my mind was how free education started in the South West.
“If you look at President Bola Ahmed Tinubu history, you will see that he is someone that like to follow the footsteps of the past leaders of the zone. People like Abiola, Awolowo and the likes of them,” he said.
Nwosu, a Chieftain of All Progressives Congress and former governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress, in Imo State, added that those money spent on Fuel subsidy in the past can go along way in providing the social amenities needed for the development of the country.
He call on all Nigerians to support the president in actualize the good plan he has for the country, saying he has taken a step in the right direction so far.
However, Nwosu advised the president to do the right thing, adding that, Nigeria can’t afford to miss it at this point in time.
