NNPCL appoints new senior management team

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has appointed a new senior management team comprising eight members.

In a statement released on Friday in Abuja, NNPCL’s Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Olufemi Soneye, confirmed the appointments, which take immediate effect. This announcement follows the recent selection of a new Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) and board of directors.

According to the statement, the newly appointed team will be led by the GCEO, Bashir Bayo Ojulari. Other key appointments include Rowland Ewubare as Group Chief Operating Officer, Adedapo Segun as Group Chief Financial Officer, and Olalekan Ogunleye as Executive Vice President for Gas, Power & New Energy.

Additionally, Udy Ntia has been named Executive Vice President for Upstream, Mumuni Dangazau as Executive Vice President for Downstream, Sophia Mbakwe as Executive Vice President for Business Services, and Adesua Dozie as Company Secretary and Chief Legal Officer.

Meanwhile the new Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.), Bayo Ojulari, has officially taken over the reins of the company from his predecessor, Mele Kyari.
