Nigerian Ambassador To Morocco Dies At 42

Nigeria’s Ambassador to Morocco, Alhaji Mansur Nuhu Bamalli, has passed away. He also held the title of Magajin Garin Zazzau and was the biological younger brother of the Emir of Zazzau.

The Zazzau emirate council announced his death, stating that he died at a private hospital in Lagos while en route to Morocco.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Ambassador Bamalli is survived by a wife and two children. He was appointed by former President Muhammadu Buhari in recognition of his years of meritorious service in the Nigerian Foreign Service.

However, diplomats, including Ambassador Bamalli, are yet to return to the country due to logistics, including the issuance of Authority to Incur Expenditures (AIEs) for their passages.
