• Nigerian artiste Ayodeji Balogun, aka Wizkid, has opined that Mavins record CEO Don Jazzy is as an “influencer.”

For a long time Wizkid rarely engage fans on social media. He has typically maintained a low profile online.

However in the last 24 hours Wizkid has engaged with fans on X formerly Twitter.

A fan asked the artiste to weigh in on Mavin Record signee Ladipoe’s recent remarks. His response has sparked a lot of debate on X since then.

“Wizkid Ladipo still talk nonsense yesterday o, Abeg enter that one too.”

In response to the tweet, Wizkid replied, “Lol, I’m never chatting to anyone signed to an influencer. Next.”

Ladipoe’s tweet referenced a pivotal moment in 2022 when Wizkid declared in an interview with 10 magazine that “Rap is Dead.”
