The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed that Odera Gregory Mbadiwe, brother of reality TV stars Ocee and Ozee Mbadiwe, who was declared missing on Wednesday, September 3, has been found.

According to a statement by DSP Babaseyi Oluseyi, Deputy Police Public Relations Officer, Odera was reported missing after leaving his Victoria Island residence on September 1 in his father’s Nissan 350Z Convertible and failing to return home. His family filed a missing person’s report at the Victoria Island Police Division on September 3.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh, ordered a discreet investigation which, with the help of actionable intelligence and support from members of the public, led to Odera’s discovery in the Mile 2 area of Lagos State.

“He was found hale and hearty, though in a distressed state. He has since been reunited with his family and is receiving medical attention and proper care. In the course of the investigation, the vehicle was also recovered,” the police statement read.

The Lagos Police Commissioner commended the swift efforts of operatives and public cooperation, stressing the Command’s commitment to safeguarding residents while urging timely reporting of similar cases.
