Military Helicopter Crashes in Kaduna, Pilot Survives

A helicopter belonging to the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has reportedly crashed in Kaduna, but fortunately, the pilot survived the incident.
According to Vanguard, thehelicopter crashed on Monday morning in Tami village of Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State. Although the cause of the crash is yet to be ascertained, military authorities have confirmed the incident and the pilot’s survival.

The Nigerian Air Force has issued a statement confirming the crash and stating that an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the incident.
“The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has confirmed that one of its helicopters crashed in Kaduna on July 1, 2024. Fortunately, the pilot survived the crash and is receiving medical attention. An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the incident,” the statement read.
This incident comes at a time when the Nigerian military is intensifying its efforts to combat insecurity in the country. The crash is a reminder of the risks and sacrifices made by military personnel in their efforts to protect the nation.
