Liverpool 2-2 Man Utd: Amad Diallo’s Late Goal Earns Deserved Draw
What a match! Liverpool and Manchester United played to a thrilling 2-2 draw at Anfield, with Amad Diallo’s late goal securing a deserved point for the visitors.
The match was filled with twists and turns. Lisandro Martinez blasted United into a second-half lead, but Cody Gakpo quickly equalized. Mohamed Salah then converted a penalty to put Liverpool ahead, but Diallo’s goal in the 80th minute tied the game again.
Manchester United’s draw ended their three-match losing streak in the Premier League and moved them up to 13th place, above West Ham. Liverpool, meanwhile, remains six points clear at the top of the table, with a game in hand on second-placed Arsenal.
The match could have had a different outcome, though, if Harry Maguire hadn’t skied his effort over the crossbar in the final seconds. What a thrilling finish to an exciting match!
