2023 ELECTIONS: LAWAL UNSEATS MATAWALLE AS ZAMFARA GOVERNOR

Dauda Lawal, the PDP candidate, has defeated Bello Matawalle, the incumbent governor, in the Zamfara governorship election.

Lawal polled 377,726 votes to beat Matawalle, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who secured 311,976 votes.
