A lawsuit filed on Sunday in the Southern District of New York has accused Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter of raping a 13-year-old girl in 2000, along with Sean “Diddy” Combs. The anonymous accuser, identified as “Jane Doe,” claims the assault occurred at a house party after the MTV Video Music Awards in New York.

Jay-Z has vehemently denied the allegations, calling them “idiotic” and urging the accuser to file a criminal complaint instead of a civil one. He also stated that he is willing to cooperate fully with any investigation.

The lawsuit claims that the accuser was dropped off at the VMAs and approached a limousine driver who worked for Combs. The driver allegedly invited her to a party after the show, where she was raped by Combs and Jay-Z.

Jay-Z’s response to the allegations has been swift and confident. He released a statement on Sunday evening, denying the allegations and questioning the motives of the accuser’s attorney, Tony Buzbee.

Buzbee has filed several lawsuits in recent months accusing Combs of assault and rape. Combs is currently facing federal charges, including racketeering, sex trafficking, and other offenses.

The case is still developing, and it is unclear whether the allegations against Jay-Z will lead to criminal charges. Jay-Z’s denial of the allegations and his willingness to cooperate with an investigation suggest that he is prepared to defend himself against the accusations.
