The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has responded strongly to recent remarks by Alhaji Buba Galadima, who questioned Ganduje’s political relevance.

In a statement issued by Chief Oliver Okpala, Ganduje’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Enlightenment, Galadima was described as a “failed, rejected, and frustrated politician.” Okpala criticized Galadima’s unstable political career and lack of credibility, recalling his past involvement with the Buhari Organization, which struggled to achieve electoral success.

Okpala further defended Ganduje’s political strength, citing his achievements and public support during his two-term tenure as governor of Kano State. He also downplayed Galadima’s influence, questioning his current political standing and pointing out internal crises within Galadima’s party, the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).

He stressed that under Ganduje’s leadership, the APC has remained strong and united, unlike the NNPP, which has been plagued by internal disputes.

Okpala concluded by reaffirming Ganduje’s dedication to his duties, noting that the APC chairman remains unfazed by Galadima’s criticisms and continues to enjoy widespread support, especially from members of the APC.
