Fuji legend KWAM 1 loses ex-wife and mother within days.

Renowned Nigerian Fuji musician, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, widely known as KWAM 1 or K1 De Ultimate, has suffered a double tragedy with the loss of his mother, Halima Anifowoshe, at the age of 105.

The iconic artist announced the sad news on social media, posting a picture with his late mother alongside the caption, “Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi Raji’un. RIP Mama.”

This devastating news comes shortly after the death of his ex-wife, Alhaja Hafsat Ajoke Anifowoshe, who passed away on Tuesday following an undisclosed illness. She was buried at Abari Cemetery, Lagos, in accordance with Islamic rites.

“On behalf of my family, I sincerely sympathize with Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, known as K1 De Ultimate, following the loss of his ex-wife, Alhaja Hafsat Ajoke Anifowoshe, and his mother, Alhaja Halima Shadiya Anifowoshe, within days.
